AI Companion Memory and Continuity
Continuity is useful when it makes a later reply feel connected to what you actually shared. It should not mean that every sentence is stored forever or that the system recalls everything with perfect accuracy. This guide explains the product boundary in plain language.

What continuity means in an AI companion
A general chat can be useful even when each session stands alone. A continuing companion is designed around a stable fictional character and the possibility that selected context will matter later. The goal is coherence: a preference, plan, or ongoing topic can be acknowledged when it genuinely helps the next conversation.
Continuity also comes from the character itself. Sakura, Hae-rin, Mina, and every other Raisay character keep a defined identity, communication style, and public life through Moments. Memory adds relevant personal context; it does not replace that stable character foundation.
Which details may be useful later
Useful details are usually small and durable enough to improve a future reply: how you prefer to be addressed, a hobby you return to, a project you are working on, or the fact that a particular situation matters to you. Recall is relevance-based, so a saved detail may not appear in every reply.
- A preferred name or way of being addressed
- An ongoing goal or topic you chose to discuss
- A stable preference that changes how a suggestion should be framed
- A prior conversation point that makes a follow-up clearer
Memory has limits and safety exclusions
Raisay does not promise perfect, complete, or unlimited memory. Details can be missed, become outdated, or be irrelevant to the current exchange. You should correct the companion when context is wrong rather than treating recall as an authoritative record.
High-risk secrets are not appropriate memory material. Do not share passwords, authentication codes, full payment details, precise private addresses, or other information that could create immediate security harm. An AI companion is also not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or crisis support.
Reviewing and removing saved memories
Signed-in users can review and remove individual saved memories from the Memories area. Account and data controls are available in Settings. Removing a saved memory is the right choice when a detail is wrong, no longer relevant, or simply something you do not want used in later conversations.
Memory controls and account deletion are different actions. Deleting one memory changes future recall for that item; account deletion follows the separate process described in Help and the Privacy Policy, including any limited legal or security retention that may apply.
How to use memory-aware conversation well
Share context gradually and only when it improves the conversation. Keep sensitive identifiers out of chat, review memories from time to time, and update or remove anything that no longer represents you. A healthy expectation is helpful continuity with user control—not flawless recall or an external source of truth.

- Does Raisay remember every message?
- No. Raisay can extract limited, useful details for later continuity, but it does not promise complete or perfect recall of every message.
- Can I see what has been saved?
- Signed-in users can review individual saved memories in the Memories area and remove items they no longer want used.
- Is memory shared between every character?
- Memories are scoped to your account and relationship. A character's continuity is not a public profile and should not be assumed to transfer as one universal memory across every relationship.
- What should I avoid sharing?
- Avoid passwords, authentication codes, full payment details, precise private addresses, and other high-risk secrets. Use the product with the same care you would use in any online service.
